Notes are the virtual version of sticky notes, so use them to capture ideas and place them all over the board.

How to add notes #
To add a new note simply go to the Object toolbar on the left side of the screen and click the “Notes” icon.
This opens the Notes secondary panel. Here you can pick:
- Size: choose from the 3 main dimensions – Small, Medium, and Large
- Shape: such as square, rectangle (portrait or landscape), or circle
- Colour of the note.
To add a note to the flipchart page, pick the desired size and shape and then click on your favourite coloured note. It will appear somewhere in the centre of the page. Or you can drag it to a specific position on the page.
To write something on the note, click inside it and type your text.
Formating existing notes #
When you hover over the note, the toolbar appears above the object. You will find there the following editing options:
- Duplicate
- Delete
- Background
- Text options
- Style
- Colour
- Size
- Font
- Alignment
- Border
- Colour
- Width
- Style
- Layers
- Drop target options
- Behaviours (available only when Design mode is enabled)
From the Notes secondary panel, you can also choose to create notes in bulk, that is to automatically insert text in separate notes.
Click the “Quick Notes” button. This takes you here:
The coloured field is where you paste the text you wish to appear on different notes. Edit the text appearance within the bulk notes by accessing the editing options in the right top corner of the Quick notes window. Then click the “Create” button and the note will be added to your flipchart. See more on this topic in the “Creating notes in bulk” section.
You can easily move the notes around the flipchart by clicking on one side, holding the note and then dragging it around the flipchart.
